Lynch pancake motors

The highly acclaimed Lynch pancake motors were to be used in racing form - i.e. balanced matched units.  As may be seen from the above photograph, independent suspension was via unequal length wishbones and modified (Isigonis) rubber cones compressed by pushrods.  This arrangement was not only simple and cost effective, but also reduced the all up weight of the vehicle.
